Memphis Lotus Project Overview

To support leaders of the Memphis City School, Leadership Academy fellows are providing first-of-its-kind training and information in Memphis on the use of technology in the classroom.

School principals are solely responsible for making decisions about the use of technology in the school yet they receive no training or information to help them with decisions on technology usage. With the problem identified, Leadership Academy fellows have partnered with existing school leadership training programs including the New Leaders for New Schools program and the University of Memphis Urban School Leadership Program providing up-to-date information and workshops.
